Nene Valley Firewood Free Stacking Service
At Nene Valley Firewood we are always striving to make our customer experience as easy as possible. One of the ways we do this is offering a free stacking service on all loose cubic metres. We know it can be a daunting and impractical task piling away a load of logs that have been dumped loose at your property, especially after a long day at work or when the English weather is at its worst! So why not save yourself a job and let one of our friendly Nene Valley Firewood drivers do the work for you. Simply advise us as to where you would like the logs stacked when we give you a call about delivery and leave it to us. You don’t have to be home to receive your logs provided we can access the outbuilding where you would like your logs to be stacked.
Things to know
- Free stacking is only available on our loose cubic metre loads.
- You don’t have to be in to receive your logs.
- Stacked by our own Nene Valley Firewood team.
- We advise that the logs are stacked in a dry place to maintain their low moisture content.
- Stacking takes approx. 15-30 mins per cube.
- If the distance from your property, to where we can park, is more then 20 m or you have more than 5 steps please let us know when ordering. This is just so we can allow the driver more time or perhaps send him with some help.
- PLEASE NOTE: We are currently unable to go through, or stack inside your property. If this is essential for you, please call us on 01327 829529 to discuss.
Bulk Bag Or Loose Cubic Metre?
Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs – Bulk Bag

Our bulk bags are packed full of top-quality kiln-dried hardwood logs that provide a long, efficient burn.
We often get asked what’s the difference between our bulk bag and loose cubic metre. In terms of quality of the kiln-dried hardwood, nothing. However there are some differences in quantity and practicality.
- The bulk bags holds approx. 0.65m3 – the loose cubic metre contains approx. 0.35m3 more firewood than the bag.
- The bulk bags are delivered free to your drive – the loose cubic metre is delivered and stacked for free.
- The bulk bag is delivered in a bag – the loose cubic metre is packaging free.
- Our bulk bags have small, standard and long logs available – our loose cubic metre just has standard and long.
